Biography
Julius Alonzo Churchill was born in Lima, Ohio in 1862. In 1926, Dr. Churchill became the first President of Southern Oregon State Normal School. Churchill Hall at Southern Oregon University is named for him and houses the current President's office. Churchill Hall is the oldest building on campus.
