Klamath National Forest maps, 1997-2001
These materials are related to the previous file (Klamath National Forest Project) and include a rudimentary list of maps scrawled on a sheet of yellow legal paper with a scale for the maps. A large map of Klamath National Forest, 1997; a map of transportation system, 2001.
Mill Creek Journal Illustrations photographs, 1850-1890
The photographs and illustrations document the town of Ashland and its inhabitants from the second half of the nineteenth century. These images were used in Atwood's research for her book, Mill Creek Journal, which documents the history of Ashland, Oregon from 1850-1860. Many of these images appeared in the book.
Correspondence / Family history, 1918-1979
These materials are letters of correspondence between Atwood and several individuals from whom she was seeking information for her Illahe project. The individuals mostly recount their family's histories in these letters and answer Kay's questions about the history of the area. Also included are some photocopies of various documents and other primary source materials.
