Scope and Contents The 1920 collection consists of personal correspondence and memorabilia. As with previous years, the primary recipient of letters was Mrs. Fred M. "Vetabelle" Carter (nee Phillips) of Madera and Redding, California. Among the authors is Ralph, who wrote to Mrs. Carter from the Panama Canal Zone as a crewman aboard the U.S.S. New Hampshire.
