The materials are excerpts from the wine and grape section of the annual reports of the Oregon Horticultural Society. Also included in this folder is an article about the sugar content of various wines.

The materials describe the laws governing labeling and the labeling of Oregon wines. Specifically, these documents concern a change made to the policy in 2007. The policy stipulated the minimum percentages required for both varietal and appellation of origin labeling.

The materials include an excerpt from the Oregon Blue Book concerning issues surrounding Oregon's statewide land-use planning program. The program was adopted in 1973 with the passing of the Oregon Land Use Act (Senate Bill 100). Also included are copies of Oregon State Senate Bills 100 and 101.

The materials include a collection of articles and documents relating to sustainable practices in grapegrowing and wine-making in Oregon.
