Student publications
The materials consist of student anthologies and student journals including the "Lambda Chi Anthology of Verse" published in 1936-1968, the "Honors Journal" published between 1967-1969, and "McNair Scholars" journal beginning in 2005, the "Journal of Criminology and Criminal Justice" published during 2011-2013, and the "West Wind Review" issues starting in 1987.
University publications
The materials consist of Southern Oregon University publications and reports. Included in the publications are university yearbooks, directories, course catalogs, handbooks, newsletters, and realia. The course catalogs and commencement programs date back to 1878. The self-study reports concern campus programs, including summer and extended programs.
Siskiyou student newspaper publications
The Siskiyou is an official publication of the associated students of S.O.C. It is published on Fridays during the school year, except during vacation periods.
Master's Theses collection
All graduate students completing theses are required to provide a print copy of the approved thesis, with signature page to the University Archives. This is in compliance with Oregon Administrative Rules.

The materials consist of Southern Oregon State College ephemera, including documents created for the promotion of the university and its sports teams.
