The VHS tape contains footage of a presentation Dennis Powers made for the California School Employees Association on the subject of the Saint George Reef Lighthouse.

The book "Crescent City's Dark Disaster" concerns the tsunami of 1964. The book includes an inscription that reads "To Dennis Powers from Wally Griffin 10/29/99."

This folder contains various materials pertaining to the research and publication of a then-forthcoming book by Dennis Powers about the S.S. Brother Jonathon entitled "Treasure Ship."
