Biography

Frank Clark Sr. was a leading architect in southern Oregon and the Rogue River valley. Born in New York, Clark settled in Ashland, Oregon in 1902 before moving to Medford in 1909. Mr. Clark designed numerous buildings, many designated as Historic Places.

Kay Atwood and Gail Evans created the "Frank Chamberlain Clark Survey" in 1982. The Jackson County Board of Commissioners sponsored the survey. The survey contains detailed information about the designs by Frank Clark, his biography, and forms documenting each building. The study consists of 232 pages and 12 pages of city maps.
