Sir John D’Aubermon, 1277. A Sheriff of Surrey – the oldest surviving brass in the British Isles. Armor consists of heraldic shield, mail, leather surcoat, sword and spear. Decorative lion at feet. Located at Mary’s Church, Stoke D’Abernon, Surrey. 40”W x 98”L.
