Scope and Contents
A letter from the Education Committee to the Members of Tribal Council requesting $2,400.00 to help students attend the Warm Springs Kindergarten; A letter from the Tribal Education Office to the students and adults asking for support for a language class to be offered at the school; Resolution 2571 which requests a boarding school in the Northwest for Northwest Indian students due to limited oppourtunities; Resolution 2572 which offers to pay 50% of the tuition required to attend the local kindergarten classes but limits it to students who live within the boundaries of the reservation; A memo for Lloyd Smith which states that any requests for Indian Education Material will be forwarded to his office, also attached is a letter from Dorothy Shrum asking Nathan Jim for help on research she is doing into the words and language of the Warm Springs Reservation; A Tribal Education Committe Report for Fiscal Year 1963
