Scope and Contents
The 1891 correspondence includes letters from Mary Hannah "Minnie" Anderson of Ashland, Oregon, and Wrangel, Alaska, to her sister Lena Phillips of San Francisco and other family members in Oregon; George Edwards (husband of Laura Viola Edwards (nee Anderson)) to George Anderson of Talent; Sarah "Sada" Burrall (nee Anderson) to family in Oregon; Lena Phillips (nee Anderson) of Seattle to Family in Oregon; a photocopied newspaper (title unknown) announcement for the wedding of Sara E. Anderson and Frederick P. Burrall in Ashland (date not provided). The newlyweds married before departure to Mexico to honeymoon in Mexico City and relocate to Guanajuato, where Mr. Burrall obtained a job as a mining engineer.
