Scope and Contents

The 1908 correspondence consists primarily of letters and bills sent to Fred Mortimer Carter of Ellensburg, Washington. The correspondence includes letters from attorney Chester W. Clark of Boston and J.H. Avery of Milton, New Hampshire, about money loaned to Carter. Clark's correspondence to Carter includes a clipping from the Boston Herald on the failure of Yale University alumni to repay loans.
