Scope and Contents
The 1910 correspondence bulks with letters to Fred Mortimer Carter, Jr. of Ellensburg, Washington, regarding financial matters. The majority of the correspondence is from attorney Chester W. Clark of Boston about money loaned to Carter. The correspondence includes a photograph postcard, addressed to E. Edwards of Ashland, Oregon postmarked from Seward, Alaska, of two domesticated bear cubs.
