Scope and Contents
National Registry of Historic Places nomination forms describe the properties of Hanley Farms located in Jacksonville, Timberlake Lodge located in Clackamas County and Oregon Caves Historic District located near Cave Junction. These forms provide descriptions, information, and the significance of the property to warrant inclusion on the National Registry of Historic Places.
The research paper included describes the history of the family and farm during the years 1857 to 1986. After 1986, the Southern Oregon Historical Society began to oversee the property.
Addition materials include substantial correspondence regarding the steps needed to have the Hanley Farm nominated as a National Historic Landmark and examples showing exterior views of the Timberlake Lodge. Also, supporting materials such as plot plans, floor plans, drawings of ideas for landscaping, and other correspondence is available.
