Scope and Contents
The National Register of Historic Places form describes the Clark-Norton House built in 1903 as a private residence, in Grants Pass. The house stands as an excellent example of Henry J. Clark's work. As a judge and a Senator, Harry D. Norton was significant to the community and region. He and his wife, Elizabeth M. lived in the home between 1905 and 1930.
The papers include a history of the house and owners detailed in the documents of nomination, correspondence regarding the nomination, city layout plans, and newspaper articles.
