Scope and Contents
The materials describe Red Butte Lookout, located in the Western Cascade of southwestern Oregon. The area is considered part of the Mixed-Conifer Zone. The authors suggest that Red Butte Lookout qualifies for the National Register of Historic Places as it has significant historical evidence in the design, materials, and quality of the lookout.
