Scope and Contents

In 1948, the Medford Clinic opened its doors with Robert Sleeter, Reinhold Kanzler, and Oscar Heyerman as a team of physicians who offered their expertise to the people of Medford and the surrounding area. The history of the Medford Clinic, is outlined in detail from the Foundation of the Clinic (1945-1948), the Clinic Begins (1918-1955), a New Building and a Lawsuit (1956-1963), staff expansion and departures (1964-1974), Growth and Development, and Medical Advance (1975-1986), and A New Building, Physicians and Glue (1988-1994). Also included is a list of Physicians who worked at the Clinic beginning in 1948 through 1994, and their specialties. There are personal statements from some of the Doctors and other staff members who have worked at the Medford Clinic.
