Scope and Contents
The two reports in this folder include information on the history of the Lakeview district in South-Central Oregon. The materials document the migrants use of land as they arrived in Oregon to begin a new life. The documents focus on the years 1910 through 1936. The reports concern the Lumber Industry and its effects on the land. The importance of the railroads and the role of politics are also noted.
