These materials provide a brief overview of the grape variety vitis californica.

The materials provide information about the different varieties of grapes grown in southern Oregon and their viability in the region. At least some of the data is from the Southern Oregon Research and Extension Center and its test vineyard. One item appears to be more recent, perhaps from the last decade or so.

These materials provide information about the vineyards and viticulture of the Illinois Valley in Southern Oregon. The majority of the materials are newspaper and journal articles about local vineyards in the area and their history.

These materials, drawn from various sources, provide biographical information about one of southern Oregon's early grape-growing pioneers, Alfred H. Carson. Carson was on the State Board of Horticulture in the early 1900s.

This is a transcript of an interview with Porter Lombard conducted by Willard Brown on November 11, 1999, at Lombard's office at the Oregon State University Experiment Station in Jacksonville, Oregon.

The materials provide information regarding the planning of a new winery in the Rogue River Valley known as Haut Rogue. The main document is a letter from Andrew and Evelyn Samad, the owners of the vineyard, to potential stakeholders with several attachments and notes, including maps and marketing plans.

The two brochures advertise southern Oregon wine tasting tours. One is specific to Jacksonville, the other is from the Southern Oregon Winery Association and includes the Applegate Valley, Illinois Valley, Rogue Valley, Upper Rogue, and Umpqua Valley regions. Both are undated.

The materials are an assortment of magazine articles about wine in the Rogue Valley, including one written by Brown in 2006.
