Materials relate to the wine industry in the Rogue Valley.

The materials include various documents regarding the life and history of Peter Britt, one of the early pioneers of fruit growing and winemaking in southern Oregon. Some of the documents are photocopies of primary sources from Britt's lifetime, while others are more recent publications about his life. Also included are some maps and correspondence between Brown and other researchers.

The materials include census data and reproductions of photos from the early 20th century in southern Oregon. Other materials are recent historical writeups about the town of Talent from 2005.

These materials include an assortment of primary and secondary sources about the history of wine in the Rogue Valley. Included are historical photographs, census data, and reports/articles written about the period. Of note, there is a lot of information about August Petard, another early grape grower in the region.

The five-page document, "History Timeline for Wine in the Rogue Valley AVA Oregon" by Willard Brown, covers the 1850s through the early 2000s.

The materials, many of them from the Oregon Winegrowers Association and the Oregon Wine Advisory Board, concern the state of the wine industry in Oregon, mostly from 1981 to 1990.

The materials include issues of the Oregon Winegrower's Association's newsletter, "Oregon Grapevine," from 1981 to 1988, as well as other related documents.
