A collection of handwritten letters addressed to Senator Bates concerning the agricultural bills pending in Oregon.

The file includes photocopied excerpts of chapters 1-9 of the book, The Same as Yesterday, concerning the Lillooet Tribe. It also consists of a passage of the Epilogue and source notes.

This is a transcript of an interview with Porter Lombard conducted by Willard Brown on November 11, 1999, at Lombard's office at the Oregon State University Experiment Station in Jacksonville, Oregon.

The file includes several maps of the Pacific Northwest, specifically Puget Sound, Bellingham, and Peace River from the U.S. Geological Survey. It also contains a photocopy of a map of U.S Railroads dated 1890.

The series contains materials related to Dennis Powers' historical research and the writing of the book “The Raging Sea." The materials include papers concerning the publication and the promotion for the book. “The Raging Sea" was published in 2005.
