Scope and Contents The National Register of Historic Places form describes the Noble-Gohrke House. Constructed in 1909 as an elegant residence in Grants Pass, for George S. and Ella Calhoun. Mr. Calhoun served the Grants Pass community in many ways. In 1923, James Noble, a miner, purchased the home.
