Scope and Contents The National Registry of Historic Places nomination form describes the Hamilton and Edith Patton House located in Medford. Louis B Humphrys built the private residence in 1929. The home is an example of the Arts and Crafts style with Tudor architectural details. In addition to designing the house, Humphrys also designed the landscaping to match the details of the home. Scope and Contents There are letters and other materials concerning the nomination of the Hamilton and Edith Patton House into the National Register of Historic Places. Louis B. Humphrys designed the home in the Tudor Revival style. He also designed the landscape to be of English design. Humphrys was the only designer that was a genuine challenge to the dominance of Frank C.
