The documents cover a range of information about the Klamath National Forest and the Civilian Conservation Corps. The CCC was enacted to get young men working after the Great Depression. In the file are articles from a variety of sources that explain what the CCC was working on and accomplishing. The documents cover Klamath National Forest and Fire Lookouts in California, the Northfork Ranger Station in the Sierra National Forest.

The materials concern the history of Leland and Sunny Valley, two settlements in southern Oregon. The majority of this file is made up of Atwood's handwritten notes on the subject. Dates for the materials are difficult to ascertain.

Scope and Contents The real estate abstract for the Ashland Homestead Association Tract, Lot 11, documents the ownership beginning with Elsie M. Lyons in 1927. Elsie received the property after the death of Daniel B. Lyons. The property was held in trust for the Rossi minor children.
