The title page claims to show all direct and principal cross roads in England and Wales and includes all towns, villages, and churches around these crossroads. Some pages include maps. The descriptions note all the cites, borough-towns, towns-corporate, and arms. The book lists Emanual Bowen as the engraver and Thomas Bowles as the printer. The item measures approximately 5 x 8 inches.

Selected pages from a book titled "Britiannia Illustrata." The engravings include one depicting Doddington in the county of Lincoln, and four depicting different views of Grimsthorp in the county of Lincoln. The text also includes a table noting the name of the Palace, the location, and who lives there. Printed for David Mortier at Erasmus's Head in the Strand, and Daniel Midwinter at Three Crowns in St. Paul's Church Yard.

The volume also includes three maps. One for Lincolnshire, Nottinghamshire, and Darbyshire. Each with sections describing their history and geography. Published in London, 1722.

A broadside advertisement titled the "Large English Atlas: a New Set of All the Counties of England and Wales," by Emanuel Bowen, geographer to His Majesty, Thomas Kitchen, and Others. The atlas is printed and sold by T. Bowles of London. The maps advertised are not included. The active periods of the named geographers are Emanual Bowen (1694-1767), and Thomas Kitchen (1718-1784).
