Dean and Mary Collins papers
The Dean and Mary Collins papers contain articles about Native American tribes from the southwest region, maps of the reservations, as well as tourist guides. Much of the literature found in this collection pertains to the Navajo. However, there is also information on other Southwest tribes including the Pomo, Hopi, Zuni, Papago, and on tribes from other regions such as the Yurok, Cherokee, Sioux, and others.

West Shore magazine is a literary magazine published in Portland, Oregon, United States from 1875 to 1891. Leopold Samuel created the magazine to promote the Pacific Northwest. The magazine included articles by well-known authors and high-quality illustrations. The illustrations depicted scenery and architecture of Oregon, Washington, California, Idaho, Montana, British Columbia, and Alaska.
