The Charles "Charlie" Givan folder provides research in photographs of the Ranch, farm equipment, structures, and family. A 1976 taped interview with Charlie, Ruth Kneas, and Kay Atwood describes the Old Givan Ranch and life back in the day. Also included are a list of people in the photos and handwritten notes.

Jackson County purchased the ranch with all the tools and farming equipment in 1972. The property sold with conditions to be set up as a park for the public to visit and see an example of a century farm, and an area where the Klamath Indians came to fish on the Rogue River.
