White water offers a fine angling spot for this fisherman along the North Umpqua River in the Cascade Mountains of southern Oregon. There is fishing to suit a variety of tastes in this evergreen Northwest state. Lakes and streams provide excellent angling for trout and steelhead while the Pacific Ocean offers opportunities for landing salmon, cod, tuna, sea bass and other salt water varieties.
