21 Pounds Reward, 1848
Scope and Contents
The broadside advertises a reward of 21 pounds for anyone providing information regarding a man who carved up a sheep, stole the body, and left the head, skin, pluck, and entrails in the field. The suspect took the sheep from John Goude Stevenson, Esq. of Skellingthrope. The reward was issued by order of Henry Williams Treasurer and Secretary.
