Al Sarena Case File, 1955-1963
Scope and Contents
H-15 "The Al Sarena Case," by Betty Fadaley, published in American Forests, volume 62, February 1956. The file also contains copies of documents stored at the Federal Records Center (box 20407). The documents include numerous memos between the USFS, BLM, Al Sarena claimants, various lawyers, and U.S. Senators and Congressmen. Also included is a copy of the 2-8-56 Congressional Record, Lewis, Sadie Rogue River NF Patent Application, and P.L. 167. The file contains numerous newspaper clippings from the Medford Mail Tribune, the Oregonian, the Oregon Journal, and a Washington Post political cartoon.
