Scope and Contents
L-43 "Oral History Interview with Zane Grey Smith," as part of the Northern Region [USFS] Retirees Association 'Living History Project,' Missoula, Montana. Early in his career, Zane Smith served as a junior forester on the Union Creek (later Prospect) Ranger District and then timber management assistant at Butte Falls Ranger District. Zane Smith went on to become Regional Forester for the Southwestern Region, California. His recollections include some memories about his career in the USFS (12p). [RRSNF/SOU-HL]
