Scope and Contents
The National Register of Historic Places nomination form describes the Baldwin Beach house as a modified version of the Queen Anne style constructed in 1884. Mr. Baldwin Beach built many of the early homes of Ashland between 1878 and 1910. Mr. Beach was considered the "Pioneer Builder of Ashland." This property served as Mr. Beach's residence and is located in what was once known as Hargadine Hill.
