Scope and Contents

The National Register of Historic Places nomination form describes the Nils Ahlstrom house. John Fruhan constructed the Nils Ahlstrom house in 1888, in the Classical Revival Style, located in the Railroad District of Ashland.

There are photocopies of two newspaper articles dated October 2, 1888, and March 18, 1919. Also, a handwritten family history of the Ahlstrone family dated February 4, 1963. The file includes images of the exterior of the house showing different angles and views. Three plot plans are included.
