Scope and Contents

The National Register of Historic Places nomination form describes the Domingo Perozzi house as a private residence built-in 1902. The architect is unknown. Included are elevation and floor plans for the main floor and upper level of the house, as well as one property plot plan.

Born in Switzerland in 1871, Domingo came to California with his father when he was a young child. After moving to Ashland, he started the Ashland Creamery in Autumn of 1896, delivering milk, butter, and other items. He also was involved with other business ventures in the community, including the Oregon Hotel. He married a local girl Louise Caniere in November 1902.
