Scope and Contents
The item is the first of two volumes of the Josephine County Historical Resources Inventory conducted and compiled by Kay Atwood in 1984. The introduction states that the "following is a quantitative analysis of historic resources included in a 1983-1984 survey of unincorporated lands in Josephine County. An approximate 455 square mile area was inventoried and 268 buildings, structures, sites or objects, and 81 ditches were recorded." Also included inside this first volume are a few letters of correspondence concerning the inventory.
