The second of two volumes of the Josephine County Historical Resources Inventory conducted and compiled by Kay Atwood in 1984. The introduction states that the "following is a quantitative analysis of historic resources included in a 1983-1984 survey of unincorporated lands in Josephine County. An approximate 455 square mile area was inventoried and 268 buildings, structures, sites or objects, and 81 ditches were recorded."
