This compilation of black and white maps was prdouced by the Oregon State Highway Department. Each map shows the major roads, highways, and railroads located in the towns of Coos County as well as the bodiesof water and river systems in prximity to these roads.

C-54 "Crater National Forest, Sales, and Policy for Christmas Trees," W.J. Sproat and Paul A. Brinson, Crater/Rogue River National Forest, Medford, Oregon. Two letters of "Memorandum for Forest Supervisor," with maps attached, from Mr. Sproat and District Ranger Brinson describing access to specific areas for possible extraction of Shasta red fir Christmas trees. The various maps of Crescent City and handwritten notes concern "The Raging Sea." Additional materials include photocopies of photographs for use in the book and newspaper articles about the northern coast of California and towns on the coast of Oregon.
