Documents regarding Walter's life at school including activities he participated in, his grades, as well as graduation material

Excerpts and chapters from various books related to the sea and ships. Books included here are titled "From Salt Lake City Westward," "The Wonderful Power of Water," and the "Raw Winds of San Francisco."

These materials are all undated. There are four photocopies of a relatively primitive handdrawn map of an area known as "Sebastopol." Also included is a brief typewritten note about the history of the area.

The real estate documents show the Homestead Certificate awarded to Lewis W. Moore in 1886, and the various transfers of ownership between 1886 and 1940, ending with Forman and Ida G. Boe.

These materials are related to the settlement known as "Silver City" and include an application for the National Register of Historic Places.

The collection contains materials from Southern Oregon State Normal School, such as publications from the Alumni Association, articles of incorporation, newspaper clippings and correspondence.

This folder includes two magazines filled with rich local history — the magazine "Southern Oregon Heritage," Fall and Winter issues 1995, volume 1, number 1 and 2. The issues contain stories about the Rogue Valley and the people who lived here.
