The letter contains comments on a Fire Management Report prepared for the Klamath and Crater National Forests, by Arthur Ringland; item D-9. C-5 contains a "Management Plan," Hugh B. Rankin, S-Supervision, Crater National Forest, Medford, Oregon (30p). This document is the earliest timber management plan on record for the forest. The plan describes timber resources and economic development (mills, roads, etcetera) of various Working Circles and Districts. Deals with proposed railroad logging projects. [RR-SNF/SOU-HL]

The collection includes draft manuscripts of several of his books, various publications containing articles written by Netboy, research notes, correspondence, and other papers. Also included is a bibliography of his works, compiled by Netboy and college librarian Harold Otness that includes a biographical sketch. (The library’s general and special collections also include cataloged copies of Netboy’s books, but they shed are not described as part of this collection.)
