Biography

Mr. Chriswell attended Ashland Normal School. He worked for U.S. Foresty Service for 37 years, beginnnig his career in the Civilian Conservation Corps.

Memoirs is a privately produced document that contains a portion of Mr. Chriswell's memoirs of his Forest Service career, 1933-1971. The chapter "Memoirs" covers Chriswell's years at the RRNF, 1950-52. Chriswell recalls the heavy snowfall at Union Creek, and the Forest Service employees living there.
