Fermin and Lizzie G. Zana - Donation Land Claim 48, 1938-1946
Scope and Contents
The real estate documents show that all of Donation Land Claim No. 48 belonged to Fermin and Lizzie G. Zana and that Charles L. and Ella Frances Weaver mortgaged the property in 1938. Fermin Zana died in December 1940 and left a will dividing his assets. They were to be divided between Lizzie Zana, his wife, Albert Highberger, The First Methodist Church of Ashland, The Shriners Hospital for Crippled Children in Portland, Oregon, Dominica Senestrato his sister, The Public Library of Ashland, and the City of Ashland, to use for a Community Hospital. Also, the documents are the remaining distribution of the remaining assets of Fermin's will. There are also three Chattel mortgages between 1942 and 1944.
