Scope and Contents
The first abstract document begins with a Land Donation Claim from the United States to William H. Jaquett dated 1872. The property had many owners between 1872 and 1908. Also, in this abstract are documents regarding Mary F. Benson's will and estate, including the final settlement. Jacob O. C. and Nancy A. Wimer sold the property to Josephine Benson in 1899. The Woolen Addition was established at Wimer Street and Chestnut Avenue. A map is included. The last owners listed in this deed are Archie D. And Grace O. Thacker.
The second abstract document starts with a Land Donation Claim from the United States to William T. S. Patton dated 1901. There were many owners of the property. Edward Daniel Briggs purchased land in 1888. Also included are court documents involving the Talent Irrigation District. The last owner listed in this abstract was Thomas A Merryman.
The third abstract document starts with a search on the title for lots seven (7) and eight (8) in Block forty-nine of the Summit Addition in Ashland, Oregon. Formerly known as Lots 42 and 44 in the Myer Tract.
In the fourth abstract begins with court between The First National Bank of Portland, Plaintiff vs. Frank Wells and Viola Wells, State Industrial Accident Commission of Oregon, and the City of Ashland, Defendants, dated 1940, of foreclosure with judgment for the Plaintiff.
The fifth abstract begins with Homer and Eva Culbertson, and the last owners listed in this abstract are George A. and Celia A. Andrews in 1946.
The sixth abstract begins with George A. and Celia A. Andrews selling to Henry J. and Frances Leveque. The documents show William M. Briggs as a trustee. The last owners listed are Everett A. and Nancy A. Jennings.
