Scope and Contents The National Register of Historic Places nomination form describes the Ashland Bank. Constructed in 1884 the building became the first banking resource for the city of Ashland. The building ceased to be the Bank of Ashland in 1939. Mr. Henry G. Enders purchased it and rented it out as office space and used by a Justice of the Peace for many years. The guidelines for preserving the Ashland, Hargadine, and Mountain View cemeteries has been set up by the City of Ashland as guidelines for public visits. These were put into place to preserve the Historic nature, as each is on the National Register of Historic Places. Each cemetery has a unique historical story and pictures of some of the headstones, and the cemeteries are included.
