A published cooperative management plan for the Vancouver National Historic Site located in Clark County, Washington from January 28, 2000. The Cooperative Management Plan is a shared vision by four public agencies [City of Vancouver, National Park Service, U.S. Army, and State of Washington] and their partners in the coordinated preservation and management of the Vancouver National Historic Reserve for public benefit.

The National Register of Historic Places describes the Wheeler Ridge Japanese Bombing site, as the only place on the U.S. mainland experiencing a Japanese attack. The bombing occurred on September 9, 1942. The nomination form includes a brief history of Japanese bombings during World War II, images of the bombsite, newspaper clippings describing the attack, and excerpts from 1962 editorials regarding the pilot who dropped the bomb on Oregon. National Register of Historic Places nomination form describes the McCredie Historical house. The McCredie house located at 2606 Old Stage Rd., Medford, OR.

Originally located on the Thomas Ward Donation Land Claim, William and Missouri May McCredie purchased 50 acres in 1905 and constructed their home in 1908. William was an immigrant from Scotland who was a farmer-orchardist.
