Scope and Contents

A calendar of prisoners and business at the general quarter sessions of the peace, holden at New Sleaford on Thursday, January. Also included is a list of the prisoners' names and offenses as well as the name of the committing magistrate, also indicates if the were literate. On the opposite side are lists of prisoners from the South and North Divisions. The list includes prisoners in confinement for trial, prisoners in custody under orders of sessions, and prisoners in confinement for various offenses. This document appears to be a letter and includes the addressed envelope.
