Scope and Contents
The National Registry of Historic Places nomination forms describe the properties of the Oregon National Guard Armory in Ashland, and the Schnabel Residence in Portland, Oregon. These forms provide information, on the descriptions and the significance of the property to be included in the National Registry of Historic Places.
In the documents are two research papers, "The Life and Work of John Hunzicker," and a "History of the Oregon Army National Guard." There are copies of newspaper articles from January 1911 to January 1914, as well as correspondence concerning the nomination, and handwritten notes.
